Brevi is free, and it stays free.
The compiler, the MCP server, the sandbox, standalone builds and everything else in the repository are open source under Apache-2.0. Use them for anything, including commercial work, with no limits, no account and no telemetry. Paid extras for businesses are planned on top; nothing free today will move behind them.

Neither paid option is built yet. The waitlists tell us which one to build first and what it should do. Prices are estimates and may change before launch.
Our promise
Paying for Brevi should only ever mean getting more, never losing what you have.
The core stays open source
The compiler and everything released under Apache-2.0 stays under Apache-2.0. It will not be relicensed.
Nothing moves behind a paywall
Paid plans add new features for businesses. No feature that is free today becomes paid.
The compiler does not phone home
Brevi sends nothing about you or your programs anywhere. Waitlist emails are used only to tell you when a plan opens.
Questions
Can my company use free Brevi in a product?
Yes. Apache-2.0 allows commercial use, changes and redistribution. Pro is for teams who want the extra platforms, signing and support, not a licence you need.
Why charge for anything?
So the project can keep going: a small paid tier for businesses pays for fixes, new Python support and the benchmarks everyone gets for free.
What happens to my email?
It is stored with the plan you picked and your optional note, and used only to tell you when that plan opens. It is not shared or sold. Reply to that email to be removed.
When will the paid plans open?
There is no date yet. The waitlists decide which comes first; see the roadmap for what is being built now.
